Useful Sites
Here I thought I'd add some links to websites that I have relied on before.
WEB BUILDING
☻ W3Schools is full of free coding turorials for first-time website builders, to get anyone started.
☻ Pennsylvania state university's Acessibility site has in-depth information to code websites to be acessible to users of different disabilities.
☻ Zonelets is the blogging engine I'm using right here! Use it to curate your own online logs, instead of (only) posting to social media.
CSS CUSTOMISATION
☻ Transparent Textures is a great resouce to find funky textures to put to use on your custom website.
☻ You can find just the right gradients for your web-building needs with CSS Gradient!
ARCHIVED MEDIA ONLINE
☻ You can read, watch, and listen to many old media on the Internet Archive! If you have an URL of a defunct website, you can use the archive's Wayback Machine to visit it.
☻ Project Gutenberg is a free resource for many books to read for fun or for education purposes.
☻ MyRetroTVs! A fun way to visit and re-visit TV shows, movies, and even commercials of yesteryear online!
